This editorial design project translates the avant-garde music and electric personality of composer and conductor Esa-Pekka Salonen into a high-expression print layout for a portrait article. Moving away from rigid, traditional grids, the design utilizes aggressive typography and fluid structural shifts to embody the kinetic energy of Salonen’s compositions.
